1. Stop the Chaperon 2000 Service
2. Open the Chaperon Management Console and take note of the patch version.
3. Close all Chaperon 2000 Management Consoles
4. Download and save the patch file to the Chaperon 2000 directory [Download Patch]
5. Run patch file and follow directions*
6. After update completes, open Chaperon Management Console
   • If your previous version was earlier than Patch Z2, download a new full filter
   • If your previous version was Patch Z2 or later, simply start Chaperon
7. Check service log for any problems.

*NOTES: Any errors that occur during the unzipping of the patch are usually caused by either the service not being stopped or the Chaperon 2000 MMC not being closed.  If you don't see the latter one, don't forget that it could be open in a terminal server session.
