Symptoms:
- SQL Insert error messages in the Service Log
- Proxylog restarting frequently.
- Webproxylog size has reached limit of 2GB.
- Client activity notifications have stopped.
Resolution:
1. Stop the Chaperon 2000 Service and close all Chaperon windows. 2. Download an empty database and save over existing one. [Download Webproxylog.mdb] 3. Restart the Chaperon 2000 Service 4. Check Service log for problems or error messages. NOTES: This tech note only pertains to Chaperon 2000 users who log to the Access database. It is not applicable to anyone logging to MSDE or SQL. To see which database your Chaperon is logging to, open the Chaperon 2000 MMC and click on "Logging."
