ALSO, check out the Surrogate Socket log on your system. By default, Surrogate Socket creates a log of all errors and you can view it by running Surrogate Socket Service Control and clicking on the Log tab. The log is also saved in the file surrogatesocket.log in the Surrogate Socket directory. Usually, if you are having connectivity problems, there will be log entries in the log explaining exactly what the problem is. If you don't see any log entries, set the logging level to 2-Sockets, or 3-Data and try your connection again - then take another look at the log. Once you have your problem worked out, don't forget to set the logging level back to 0-Errors Only or you will end up with a huge log file.
If this still doesn't help, technical support is available via email to techsupport@cornerpostsw.com and by telephone at 276-431-7200. Support is available from 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday.
